Poker is a popular game in which players make bets to earn a share of a pot. Players’ hands are ranked by their odds of winning and the highest-ranking hand wins the pot. In some games, the pot is split between the highest and lowest hands.<\/p>\n

When all of the players have folded, the round of betting is over. In some variations, the winner is determined by the next card.<\/p>\n
In a typical game, players are required to place an ante before cards are dealt. This ante is also called a blind. It is also a forced bet. Usually, a player must put in the same amount of chips as the other players.<\/p>\n
